Re: [MINCAM] must we write with such confidence about thing we are not totally sure of ,as though we were.

Why is it that we are bent on figuring out the after life to the extent that we say with 100percent certainty, things we know nothing of ,as thought we have visited the after life , and we are just returning from there with concrete info on how things are and how things will be . All of us cannot remember where we came from (pre birth) and we do not spend our days worrying about the lack of that knowledge. Why then do we spend this precious life worrying about were we will be going once we die knowing fully well that we have not been equipped with credible knowledge that we can verify. Is our 'Gods' so cruel that he has to keep playing games with us ? or is he so cheap that we have to keep on playing this bribery games with him. Why do I call it a bribery game is because we claim that it is by faith that we are saved not by works but under the same breath we emphasizes WORKS. Who are we kidding? OUR GOD?

I like to think that death is a necessary event that most take place to ensure life as we know it on earth. The rejuvenation of the world as we know it most be maintained at all cost thus the necessity of death. It has been left in our hands to a great extend though not totally , to determine how fast or how slow that death comes to each and every one of us and that is where we should focus our energies on and not to worry so much about the after life.

IT IS NOT DEATH THAT IS THE WORST THING TO HAPPEN TO MANKIND? IT IS LIVING AN UNFULFILLED LIFE WHILE YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO LIVE. DEATH COMES TO ALL EQUALLY.

Please do not come back quoting the TORAH , or the KORAN or the BIBLE to me because although there are some positive messages that I may subscribe to in those books, as a woman , I fine this books and their teachings on women affairs very disturbing and I REJECT it's stands thus discrediting it for all what it claims as being a spoken word of God. My God loves me and does not want me, a woman ,to be second class citizen to a man. He gave me more than he gave the man in that a woman can bring forth children ( including a male) ,as well as providing for herself if rendered equal opportunities. So why render us redundant by making the man our providers. The man just needs to do his own part and take credit for that only.

There is nothing Kool about smoking. Though smoking is not a big problem in our community, our children are in danger of smoking. 20% of college children in the United States smoke. Watch what games your children are playing as tobacco companies are reaching them through video games. Watch out for new products like smokeless tobacco and free tobacco gifts. Are you and your children hanging around people who smoke? Second hand smoke is as dangerous as smoking. 80% of the one billion people who will die from tobacco in this century will be from poor countries like Cameroon. Protect your loved ones from tobacco.
