Dear All,
I thought, I must share it as I feel it is important for us to give proper direction to our students / Children. My wife, who is a principal in an ICSE International School in Bangalore, attended one week refresher course conducted by ICSE Board at Kolkata and today is back. Just now, I ask her what is the learning:
She says: Mrs. Sharmistha Raha , a noted teacher in English Literature, trainer for the program categorically mentioned " Today students don't study good English novel/book because of too much emphasize on Internet/web world and students read books like Chetan Bhagat which are full of grammatical errors. Students need to study good English book to learn good English. She also emphasizes on at least one Book Review every month."
This is not a point for debate. This is the view expressed by Mrs. Sharmistha Raha.
EDUCATE, EMPOWER, ELEVATE
Happy Knowledge Sharing.
Warm Regards,
Prof. Bholanath Dutta
