| # Positions | Description: As a Senior Business Systems Analyst for Legal and IT, you will be responsible for driving the completion of the Denied Partied List (DPL) blueprint project and the eBilling blueprint project, as well as other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by the Legal Operations Technology Lead and IT/Legal Liaison. You will liaise with IT and the relevant Legal team members to complete these projects and act as the primary liaison between IT and the Legal teams. This 'hands on' role will require working closely with internal clients, IT and Legal Operations.
Responsibilities Your responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
§ Scoping out the blueprint projects' requirements with Legal Operations, Legal Project Leads and IT. § Developing KPIs for the success of the blueprint projects and deliverables. § Developing project plans and mapping documents. § Other tasks pertaining to miscellaneous Legal/IT-related projects.
eBilling Blueprint
Some specific tasks related to this project will be as follows:
· Collect functional business requirements from clients and the Legal Operations Technology lead. · Assess and produce comparison report on up to three (3) eBilling vendors offering SaaS solutions – features, functionality, cost, ease of use etc. · Assess level of effort to integrate with Oracle and map out requirements and timeline. · Assess Finance approval flows and requirements for an eBilling system. · Develop eBilling project plan with timelines and cost. · Present report on findings with recommendation for vendor that meets business requirements and budget limits.
DPL Blueprint
Some specific task related to this project will be as follows:
v Collect functional business requirements from clients and Legal Project Lead. v Develop list of DPL access sites throughout the company. v Assess level of effort to implement Trade Compliance DPL screening across these sites and portals, and map out requirements and timeline. v Develop DPL project plan with timelines and cost. v Present report on findings and project proposal. v Partner with Trade Compliance to enhance company-wide DPL Screening requirements v Analyzes business processes and financial impacts of implementation v Acts as a liaison between Trade Compliance and the business to identify gaps v Develops scope and detailed project requirement documents v Support planned phases of DPL screening v Develops and supports any required testing to ensure success of DPL Screening implementations.
Qualifications: ü 5-7 years of hands-on Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience. ü Previous experience working as an analyst in supporting Legal business solutions specifically related to Matter Management/Billing and Trade Compliance. ü Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. ü Must have experience presenting to senior management. ü Project Management experience highly desired. ü Desired: Candidate who has spent time as part of a software engineering organization/team. ü Desired: Candidate with Business Analyst experience working for a large software company. ü Demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new and changing technologies, applications and solutions. |
