I've been solo for about 30yr of my 40yr career and in the planning stages of transition to part-time general practice-- two days/wk with the option to take extended time away for travel.
How have those of you who have invited one other dentist to join you as either an associate/partner/owner chosen the right person to carry on the "personality of the practice" you spent blood/sweat/tears creating?... or is that unneccessary?
I'd like to hear the successful strategies as well as the missteps.
