Job Title:         Splunk Analyst
Location:         Milwaukee, WI

Duration:         Long Term

 

We are seeking a Splunk Analyst with 4 to 6 years of experience in IT Industry. The Ideal candidate should have 6 months to 1 year experience in splunk development to be a part of our client facing experts to help drive processes, customer service and solution building. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional that possesses a commitment to excellence and high standards.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·         Should have demonstrated experience in developing projects across technology and business functions.

·         Splunk analyst with skills in developing splunk apps, complex searches, custom reports (bonus if they understand security event logs, but not required)

·         Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, significant issue management and resolution, communication with customer and technology management

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

·         Must have 4 – 6 years of total experience in IT Industry.

·         Must have 6 months to 1 year experience in Splunk development.

·         Splunk analyst with skills in developing splunk apps, complex searches, custom reports (bonus if they understand security event logs, but not required)

·         Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills are a must.

·         Strong communication and leadership skills for solicitation of requirements from business and internal IT stakeholders.

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

The following skills are not required, but are a plus:

·         Proficiency in Java Technology

·         Knowledge in CA Technology Service Desk is a plus

Educational Requirement: B.E. in Computer Science or relevant field with demonstrated experience
