Job Title: Technology Lead – Tester

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities: ·         Participate in requirement walk through discussion with Business Analyst and other stakeholders ·         Understand requirements and provide effort estimates ·         Assist the Project Manager in preparation of detailed QA schedule after analyzing effort, dependencies and constraints ·         Create test scripts, test execution plan and execute test cases ·         Lead and provide support to offshore testing team for testing activities and own project delivery for entire team ·         Provide appropriate status reporting and other information required to the customer Project Manager and other stakeholders ·         Conduct knowledge sharing session with offshore team and enable offshore understanding of new requirements ·         Assist in productivity enhancement projects such as Automation ·         Document and share own learning from the project, seek information and leverage knowledge from other projects in order to drive higher efficiency and preserve organization knowledge ·         Please Note: This description does not cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
Skills: ·         Technical skills: ETL concepts, Netezza/NZ-SQ L, PL-SOL, UNIX, Tidal Jobs (Or any scheduler) ·         Tools: Toad, Quality Center, WinCVS ·         Hands on experience in each stage of testing life cycle ·         Prior experience of BRD breakthroughs ·         Strong analytical skills and should be a quick learner ·         Strong written and verbal communication ·         Exposure to offshore-onshore delivery model ·         Should be able to demonstrate good leadership qualities   Additional skills(Nice to have): Prior experience of cable or telecommunication industry
Qualification: Bachelor's degree
