| # Positions | The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business problems, establishing an optimal solution, and developing detailed specifications for that solution. The business analyst must work closely with the Product Managers to collaborate on product direction, as well as working closely with the user experience lead, architecture lead, and development team to build the solution within spec. A solid understanding of the business analysis methodologies and full SDLC lifecycle experience is required, experience in Agile methodologies or RUP is a plus. Responsibilities: • Understand the details of various IntraLinks products and components, having detailed knowledge of the specifications and functionality • Document current state, and own all change management of the assigned produces or components. • Provide the link between the customer's business needs and the technical organization • Create product specifications, functional and non-functional business requirements, and validate test scenarios, high-level design approaches and wireframes • Be "the voice" of the product within the business team at IntraLinks, representing the products abilities, limitations and possibilities Specific Experience or Background Required: • Demonstrated client/domain expert interviewing skills mandatory • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate business needs in the form of specifications and requirements • Demonstrated ability to communicate a series of documented requirements to a technical team, helping translate business need into technical approach • Strong analytical abilities, being able to transfer a business problem into a series of tangible steps, implementable within the constraints of a technical product • Understand the basics of technical implementations, how software is built and the common constraints that influence how software is developed • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle • A positive attitude towards team-orientated development, and deliverable-orientated work management • A commitment to meeting deadlines, an ability to think outside the box, and exceptional communication skills • Knowledge of software development, cloud-based technologies and SaaS a strong advantage • DCM(debt capital management) subject matter expertise a plus
