Job Summary:-

 

The candidate will work directly with various teams across the enterprise to ensure that technical solutions are thoroughly tested using primarily white box test techniques to ensure that solutions align with established strategic goals with some use of automation as possible. In addition, the candidate will work with internal and external customers (process owners), Business Process Engineers and technical analysts to develop and refine business requirements and process models. The candidate will be a motivated test engineer that has a basic understanding of testing concepts. The candidate would preferably have analytical and operational process skills including an understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements and user acceptance tests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Able to develop basic test cases and test scenarios and basic understanding of automated testing activities. 2. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs, coordinate testing activities, assist the business in decision making and produce functional requirements of various technology sources. 3. Must meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments. 4. Must work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: -

The ability to code in C# is essential for this position -Must have EDI experience in the HealthCare Domain Understanding of SQL Able to break a system down by its functional components and write tests to ensure the components meet the requirements Experience with all types of testing within a SDLC Self-starter that is able to develop and execute automated tests in various environments Able to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment with members of a cross functional team Understanding of Agile practices and continuous integration techniques Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing Familiar with Microsoft software testing tools. Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server / Visual Studio Experience in a distributed environment, Preferably Microsoft based environment. Good communication skills (both oral and written). Good understanding and some experience with testing techniques. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines amid shifting priorities. Able to prioritize and work multiple tasks with limited supervision. Education and Training: Bachelors Degree is required in in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.

 Experience Required:

 1. 1+ years hands on Testing \ Quality Assurance experience 2. 1+ years hands on automation execution experience preferred 3. Knowledge of Microsoft based architecture and applications
