Re: MUSICIANS, ARTISTS...AND OTHERS EACH HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY IN NATION BUILDING

Massa Brice
Who the heck is "Mussong Medjo"? I know you grew up in a house with "grammaphone" playing "~^o^~ cheerCee why Cee-why Cee-why my boy:(game) play game" and the biggest "Brass Band" that ever came to your Bangante localite was headed by massa John Ngassa. That is why those ya ears only pick up wowo njukssa music...like "Mon calecon oh fait quoi chez toi?"
The idea here was not to name every human being who has gone infront of a microphone and "Knack Ndengue". Cameroon alone can boast of famous names like Anne Marie Nzie, Toto Guillaume, Bebey Black, Jacob Nguni, Bebey Manga, Nkotti Francois...yes the one and only Lapiro Katika Ndinga Man himself and a plethora of others. Do you even know Johnny Tezano, Elvis Kemayou, Pierre Didi Tchakounte, Tim&Foty, Peter Mpuoli Makossa, Kotto Bass, Eko Roosevelt, Ngia Mulu, Pa Nkwenti and Ngia Paul of Bagmande ana bottro dance?
Mr broda, we are talking the whole of Africa here...Not Local heros.
You should start listening to real Music when you are home to relax ana Madame. That ya Radio One Battery will never play real songs.

There are definitely more Artists and Musicians who influence societal dystopian daily drama of human existence through carefully and even not so carefully crafted lyrical spoofs, polemical pieces and other forms of poetic presentations...giving an insight into the the role of expressive culture and mitigating societal ills and short-comings. They too have a role in society. Some are LUCKY to be famous, others...out of sheer "Malchance" and "Badluck" will continue to either be ignored or may never rise to stardom. That is still o,kay. The President of America is not the most intelligent American to have become the most powerful man on the face of the planet. It is called DESTINY. At least that is how me, Mishe Fon I see it.
Please feel free to add names of Musicians and Artists you think and believe should belong to this Hall of Famers List.
