Erin,
Good philosophy, but check with your ins. person. We found better reimbursement charging for the PAN and BW rather than the FMX.

The endodontist I refer to once asked me why my practice had so many internal resorptions that were caught early. In fact I think I was one of two dentists that ever referred them. My answer? "Because we take an FMX on every patient and I look for them." I think too much is lost with just pano and BWs. We take FMX and pano every 3-5 years. We bill out FMX and write off the pano. It's a no-brainer for me as I want to be as comprehensive as I can.
