Job Title:  Senior Sybase DBA
Location:  Memphis, TN
Duration:  12 Month Contract
Start Date:  ASAP

 

Experience in: 
Sybase 12 and 15
Sybase Replication  12 and 15
Database High availability Architecture
Logical and Physical database design (PowerDesigner)
SQL Backtrack and native Sybase dumps
Database performance tuning (ie: Sybase Central, optdiag, sysmon, etc.)
Experience with VLDB
Table partitioning
Unix
Scripting & automation

 

Soft skills:
Good documentation skills
Good Communication skills
Experience in handling Multiple projects simultaneously
Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills
Strong Trouble Shooting Skills
