Re: [MTC Global] Best approach for Literature review.....

Identify the right key words for search, say employee branding, marketing & HR etc.  Go to IIM Bangalore libarary and collect about 100+ articles.

Read them all and you will find more than 50 relevant to your work. Tabulate the 50 articles in some format - say variables used, country where research was done, research design (survey, experiment etc.), analytics tools used (multi variate, path model, etc.), et. etc. Then find gaps- say this kind of variables, in India, using this method has not been done in India. Make a conceptual model of the variables ou want to study in India.

If required go back IIMB to get some additional artiles that may be needed to fill certain gaps.

Dear esteemed intellects.,
Greetings for the day!

Thanks for the overwhelming response to my last discussion link.
Most of us in MTC Global are pursuing PhD and are in various stages of our research.. i request you all to share the various methods of doing literature review(in detail). few says you need to find out data on all the various researches in the related topic, and few says you need to collect information on the quotes given by various thinkers in various years.
but what kind of approach is the best one.
