| # Positions | Description: ü Strong applied knowledge of architecture, databases, reporting tools, middleware, security, monitoring and high availability systems ü Be responsible for the maintenance and currency of documentation specific to their role, their team and the responsibilities they have. ü Adherence to the system management procedures and processes during testing, ü Adherence to Managed Operating Environment process and procedures. ü Provide regular project/task status updates to the team, team lead and Manager as required. ü Escalate problems as per team guidelines to Team Leader and/or manager ü Must have worked hands-on on application enhancements and extensions ü Requirements analysis/documentation for application level functionality tailoring/customizations ü Prioritizing, Planning, Resolving and tracking of Tasks, Work requests, Maintenance and Support activities. ü Maintain VMware/Windows upgrades, patches ü Maintain and Administer VMware SRM, HA ü Maintain and Administer Microsoft Cluster solutions ü Knowledge of administering IBM System X infrastructure ü Provide L2/L3 system administration support ü Capacity planning based on growth ü Project planning and documentation ü Upgrade and maintain OS versions ü Managing production nodes, Domain controllers, file systems ü RCA preparation ü Patch management, Disk Management ü Task Scheduling ü ITIL certifications such as ITIL V2 or V3 Foundations will be a plus ü Excellent written and oral communications skills ü Provide technical support to project account. Own and action requests for service, implementing changes and resolving assigned problems (may involve some after hours and weekend work). ü Provide 24x7 after hours on call support as required for products supported by the team ü Escalate product problems via official product support line (Tivoli Brand) ü Attend and actively participate in weekly review meetings with the team leader and/or manager to discuss issues, concerns, people, ideas and workload. ü Be a focal point in a technical and client advocate capacity and ensure other team members are mentored to enable smooth succession of previous account. ü Assist wider team performing the level 1 -2 capability, potentially off-shore or remote locations ü Please Note: This description does not cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Qualification ü Bachelor's degree ü Experience Required ( In Years) ü Minimum 8-10 years of experience and relevant experience of around 6 -7 yrs.
