Good Friday.
When I consider the event that took place back in the day (estimated April 3, A.D. 33), nothing ever seems "good" about it. Seems like it should be SAD Friday.
But it truly is "good" because the message of Easter is of Christ's victory over sin, death, and satan. In Jesus' death on the Cross, He took once and for all the sins of all mankind upon Himself, in our place. This gift He extends to everyone who will believe in Him. Believing in the Good News of the Gospel is our hope.
I hope your day and Easter weekend is more than "good".
