 The moral lesson that we get from the movie is that Appearance is deceptive; Thorough analysis of the situation and the person's behaviour will emanate the truth.
One can get how the parental attachment reaches the fathom of the heart of the children and the children seeking an outlet when such parental affinity is missing. How Nature has been so cruel to the baby Teddy by clinching away the soul of  her/his mother which has resulted in big change in the behaviour of the child. The broken Chain, Semi filled scent bottle are testimony to the child's affection to his departed mother. However, the teacher's intervention in the life of the poor child brings in Great appeasement to the episode. Long live mother's affection coupled with the teacher's affinity to the child. When God closes one door HE never fails to open another door.
