Software Quality Analyst

Professional Summary:

• Having 8.5 Years of experience in Quality Assurance and Automation of software applications.
• Experience in Software Testing, which includes Test Plan, Test case Preparation, Test case Execution and Defect Tracking.
• Extensive experience in Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Interface Testing, UI Testing, Sanity Testing.
• Extensively worked on Windows and Web based Application.
• Proficient in unit, functional, integration, web testing, regression testing, accessibility testing, performance testing and browser compatibility testing.
• Experience in development of Test scripts reviews, execution and reporting defects.
• Experience in developing test automation architectures/frameworks such as developing test script, modules, test library architecture, Test data-driven, and hybrid test automation.
• Experience in Test case Execution ,Execution of automated scripts, Results and Defect Tracking using HP Quality Center
• Used Visual Basic Scripting for QTP script for creating test framework automation.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in developing and maintaining QTP functional scripts for regression testing including dynamic parameterization using datasheets, database tables and external excel spreadsheets, virtual objects, checkpoints, file system object, HTML/XML objects, VBScript classes/objects, Recovery scenarios and descriptive programming.
• Used Visual Basic Scripting for QTP script customization and for creating Quality Center utilities for test framework automation.
• Experience working with web-add-in of QTP
• Well versed with Waterfall, V- model ,Iterative and Agile of SDLC models.
• Well known with all stages of Defect Tracking Life Cycle (DTLC).
• Experience in Writing Manual and Automated test cases based on different features and different scenarios.
• Experience in writing SQL queries and prepared test data by writing SQL.
• Skilled in understanding Business requirements and Designed documents.
• High degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to change in direction.
• Experience with handling multiple tasks in multiple projects concurrently and to prioritize them to meet the scheduled deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and thrive on building robust software quality assurance systems and processes that ensure the delivery of perfect applications.
• Trained new recruits in the team for Manual testing, VB Script, QTP.
• Knowledge of CMM level and ISO 9001 rules and regulations.
• Good communication & collaboration skills, interest & ability to learn new technologies in short span of time, self-motivated, organized and responsible team player.
