SUMMARY:
Ø This IT position ensures that Product Management and Engineering's business systems requirements are fully supported with the appropriate systems, tools, and processes. Ø It accomplishes this via rigorous process and data analysis, creation of business/functional system requirements, effective project management in tandem with Product Management and IT partners and successful implementation strategy and delivery. Ø It is also responsible to ensure process and system integration across the breadth of Product Management functional activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Document functional business requirements and business cases Ø Manage requirements process with end users Ø Assist with translating business requirements into a solution design Ø Participate in appropriate steps during system development life cycle to ensure functional requirements are met. Ø Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives Ø Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be Ø Participate in end to end implementation planning to include project management, issue management, communication and change management Ø Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts Ø Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff Ø Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary Ø Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø Minimum 8 years Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience Ø Must Have exceptional communication skills, able to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users Ø Must Have experience giving presentations to senior management Ø Must have project management experience Ø Must have business process engineering experience Ø Desired: Candidates who have spent time as part of a software engineering organization/team Ø Desired: Candidates with product management experience Ø Desired: Candidate with Business Analyst experience working for a large software company
EDUCATION: 4-year degree in Information Management, MIS, or related field |
