There is no reason to fear or treat these differently than any other external hexed fixture as long as they are fully integrated and the metal beading is not exposed, just the same way we do not want rbm or any other rough surface exposed.  I placed many of these about 20 years back.  They were developed in Canada and were very popular when other press fits were popular.  The fellow to talk to about any issues you may have is craig cooper in Indianapolis.  He placed thousands of these over his career, and was there lead clinician.  He taught at aaid head and neck courses.  Have lost touch recently, but I assume he is still around.  I still have a few parts around here somewhere, if I can be of assistance email or call me privately.

Thanks for the info.  Sounds like something that I don't want to touch and may be hard to get parts for.  I'm wondering if I could just resurface the porcelain.

Those appear to me Endopore implants (beaded surface) which was Innova and today part of Sybron Implants  they were discontinued due to bone loss issues when beads became exposed

Anyone know what implants these are?  This is a full arch that we are doing for this woman and increasing her vertical to some extent (she declined lower restorative at this time due to unrelated health issues and $$).  Is it even worth removing and replacing these these crowns or would I be better off just leaving alone and out of occlusion?  #2 and 3 look awfully close together.
