Your answer to SAF's question is bewildering.
Leaders of men should never abandon their people for convenient lives or jobs elsewhere. Genuine leaders are never held to the same standard as the governed. We must stop this purely African brand of "royalty" consisting of indigent individuals eking a marginal existence in the USA and masquerading as chiefs before chuckling Americans. But then as SAF has intimated, these fellows may just be quarter-heads. I doubt that any one of them is a gazetted ruler in Cameroon.
Cameroon Law No. 77/245 of 15th July 1977 TO ORGANIZE CHIEFDOMS, which governs the chieftaincy institution, requires that gazetted Chiefs reside in the territorial boundaries of their chiefdoms.
We have seemingly not learned from the escapades of Fon Anyangwe of Oshie who was dethroned for absenteeism and an epicurean lifestyle in the USA, very unbecoming of a crowned head.

Just wondering why all these Fons are here in the US. Are they real Fons or quarter heads from the Kingdoms where they originate? I can understand a Fon visiting the US but to leave his kingdom and reside somewhere else without subjects blows my mind.
