Why a lyricist can't be a VC? If he is capable, he can be. Lyrics is one form of literature.

Rabindranath Tagore was also a poet and lyricist, who was founder of Viswa Bharati University.

Do you think all Governors or Prime Ministers who are the chancellors of various universities are more capable than Gulzar Saahab?
