That has never happened to me with World or my local lab but unlike a lot of people I’m made mistakes on cases I’ve sent the lab by not seating the impression analogue totally due to a bit of tissue in between…looked great on the radiograph but not with the restoration. Now I’m not the smartest turn going around the bowl but I know I can make mistakes. I know a brilliant specialists like Arun can make mistakes. If we need to expect our labs to never make an error then I think we should have an in office lab, tech, and check every case ourselves before the case goes to the mouth…and you’ll still make mistakes. So if it is a good lab, work it out and forgive. I take that back, World did get an analogue misplaced in the model and that screwed the pooch but they fixed it quick and all was fine. Mistakes are part of living. My biggest one was buying a motorcycle.

I will refrain from naming the Lab but someone had their head up their #@$. 5 Unit Implant Bridge . Abutments 6, 7 and 9. Filled out Lab slips.
Nobel Replace Select #6 a 4.3, #7 a 3.5 and # 9 a 4.3. Today was Abutment and metal work try in. Well they switched #7 and #9 sizes!!
Start over.
Double checked lab slip and it was filled out correctly. Means they managed to squeeze the wrong impression posts into the impression. Unbelievable!!
Sure Glad it is Friday
