London Statement of the Government of Southern Cameroons (GoSC)
The Government of Southern Cameroons (GoSC) held a two day business and investment meeting with investors of Kilimanjaro, Forest gate and other investors from Germany at the Grand Plaza Hotel in London. The meeting looked into investment possibilities in the areas of infrastructural development, telecommunications, energy and education. President Akwanga assured the investors of the human resource potential of Southern Cameroons and that a free and independent Southern Cameroons will provide a good investment climate that ensures political stability, fights corruption and adopts a tax code that is mutually beneficial for both investors and the State. The investors on their part assured the Government of their unflinching support on the legal and political front to ensure that the Southern Cameroons is free. In the sideline of these talks, the Government met with Professor Massanga and Dr. Batista, the president and prime minister of Cabinda. Both governments exchanged ideas on the state of our mutual struggles against alien domination and agreed on a common platform to foster both people's aspirations of separate homelands. A Southern Cameroons Cabinda summit was scheduled for Europe in the coming weeks. The GoSC also met with representatives of the Transitional Government of Tamil Eelam. Both governments discussed the state of affairs of the Tamil struggle and the referendum to determine Tamils status in Srilanka. The GoSC pledge its support to the Tamil people in their quest for a separate homeland. The GoSC also discussed the situation in the Borneo Island with its United Kingdom representative and pledge continuous cooperation with the people of Borneo under the auspices of the Nations without states. The GoSC received a delegation of the SCNC UK and discussed far reaching issues concerning our struggle and the need for all to be focused on best practices that can shift the political equilibrium to our favor. Southern Cameroonians should remain confident in the face of these economic developments in our struggle. The desire to wrestle control of our economic destiny from the grip of the occupying regime would go a long way precipitating the demise of the regime in our land.
