Skills Required and Job Description:

Base Requirements Minimum 5-7 years experience in Networking/ Telecommunications, experience with financial company networks a plus. Certification\Training: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CCNP or CCIE certificates a plus, skill/ experience should commensurate with CCNA certification level.  Job Description:  Perform network design testing/certification prior to production implementation. Implement configurations and implementation instructions into Client's change management system and insure that all approvals and processes are adhered to compliant with Audit. Perform installation and configuration of Cisco switches, routers, terminal servers, DSU/CSUs, and network management tools. Complete turnover documentation and update all Client systems with the new install information. Clean up all legacy devices and insure all systems in the environment have been cleaned up. Perform system level documentation on Client platforms and assist in project tracking and documentation. Generate test plans or scripts detailing network related configurations.                    Technical Skills:        In-depth knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and terminal servers, Frame Relay, EIGRP, HSRP.       IP Routing: OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, BGP Protocols: TCP/IP, IPSec, ATM, WAN: Dedicated, ATM, VPN, Frame Relay, MPLS Hardware: Cisco ASR 1002, 7500, 7200, 3600, 2600, 2800, 2900 Catalyst 6500, 5500, 4000, 3500, 2900. Working knowledge of Cisco 6500 switch family and associated modules, Familiarity with design and implementation of new and existing Data Center network infrastructure, including the installation and configuration of Cisco switches, Routers, and Terminal servers. Working knowledge of Fiber Optic Cabling, Cable Infrastructure and Cat 5 Cabling along with large-site wiring is a plus Familiarity with VoIP and multicast, Security: Checkpoint, IPSec, Cisco Secure (TACACS+), RSA SecurID, AAA, 3DES, DES is a plus.   Additional Skill Sets: Microsoft Office Products            Excel o   Pivot tables o   Scripting & Macros Word     Powerpoint Outlook Visio
