Just my stupid 2 cents worth. Tried H & H technique after hearing about it and YES watching the videotape of technique direct from Morita. Tried using a) the Morita recommended materials as well as b) the often-referenced Blu Mousse and Kerr's light body orange Take One. This technique is hit-and-miss, hit-and-miss...every lab case was a surprise, WILL IT FIT OR NOT? I finally had to give up on it as the SUSPENSE was killing me. I use it only now as a backup impression in brutal cases where the blood would shame a horror movie. Oh yes and also tried Premier Triple Trays and well as the Hoos recommended trays and the Clinician's Choice metal trays...same thing...hit/miss, hit/miss, hit/miss...I simply could not stand it.

This amazes me. We have people out there like Arun doing full mouth cases with this technique and getting beautiful results by a boarded prosthodontist. I think there are minor issues that create the problem. The main one is consistently. You have to make damned sure the tray is dry and clean. Jeff takes the tray out, does this, and puts it back in place EXACTLY. If I did this I'd add a little light body to opposing. After seating it perfectly in the mouth you MUST have the patient close in the same place they did before. If it is a perfect bite through, you'll see mostly blue Mousse. I've done hundreds of them and World keeps blowing out beautiful restorations. It is all I use now. Guy
