[MTC Global] Sankalp 2013

Dear Friends

Further to my enclosed mail, there have been several further queries from many of you. Some of these may be in the minds of others also and therefore, I am informing my response to all :

- You are most welcome to bring your spouse with you. In case you have opted for Swiss Tent then I can assure you that for your spouse also, it would be truly a memorable and unique experience.

- The participation fee, accommodation charges and sightseeing charges for the spouse are also same. Please note we are not recovering even the cost through these various charges. We are trying to get some sponsorships and other help to take care of the financial gap so that we do not end up with a loss.

- In the case of Hotel Basant Inn, the charges are on per day basis and not per night basis. Rs. 800 on single occupancy and Rs. 500 on double occupancy basis including breakfast for a good AC room is the lowest one can get. Therefore, please do not ask for negotiation of this rate and also for paying on per night basis. The rooms in the hotel are to be booked through us and not directly with the hotel.

- The payments for participation, accommodation and sightseeing - all are to be paid in the name of "Aravali MTC Global Sankalp 2013". No payments are to be made to anyone else. We have blocked the rooms in the hotel and therefore, we would be making the payment to the hotel. Of course, any payment in the hotel other than the room and the standard served breakfast are to be paid by the occupant only directly to the hotel before checking out.
 
 - You can combine all the payments - accommodation, participation and sightseeing for you as well as your spouse (if coming) into one single cheque, demand draft or bank transfer. You do not have to make or send separate payments. However, please do remember to e-mail me the details.

- While the awardees, speakers and recipients of Appreciation Certificates are exempted from the payment of participation fee but their spouse would need to pay the participation fee.

With reference to the enclosed mail from Virendraji, it has been heartening to receive a large number of telephone calls today from many MTCians from all over India enquiring about the various aspects of Sankalp 2013 for attending it. Though I have replied to each of them individually, I thought it appropriate to respond to similar general queries which some others may also possibly have :

- You can send all the payments (for registration, accommodation and sightseeing, as applicable) in one cheque or demand draft. However, please do send alongwith the break up details of the cheque/DD amount.

- Those not having online payment facility can send the payment by cheque or DD to the following address :

- There are a total of 18 double bedded AC rooms in Hotel Basant Inn. Therefore, we can have a maximum of 36 participants accommodated in this hotel. After this we would have to go for another hotel, which is likely to be costlier. So far five rooms have been booked.

- Main Bus Stand of Jodhpur is at a five minutes walk from Hotel Basant Inn. There are regular buses available every half an hour from there going to Delhi/Jaipur/Ajmer/Beawar, etc. and our campus (venue of Sankalp 2013) comes on the way. They charge bus fare of around Rs. 50 each way from Jodhpur to Aravali campus. However, in case we get around 36 participants staying in Hotel Basant Inn then we would be glad to arrange a dedicated bus with payment of same amount of Rs. 50 each way only.

- Swiss Tents are on the campus itself and therefore, will provide convenience as well as unique experience at a cost much less than what is normally charged for the same. So far 15 persons have booked the Swiss Tents.

Without boasting about it, I would like to emphasize that the kind of very distinguished speakers (list attached) we have managed you would not get even in the top conferences where the participation fee is very high. You are getting much higher level of speakers at a very nominal participation fee. The event would provide you a great learning as well as networking opportunity, the kind of which at such a economical cost comes once in a life time. MTC Global can only provide you such an opportunity and it is entirely for you to make use of it or ignore it. You will also get to see how a truly international conference is organised with discipline, punctuality, quality, management, etc. It does not serve any purpose to complain that you do not get suitable cost-effective opportunity to develop competencies.
