MUST HAVES:
• 5+ years experience in Application Development using a Configuration Management methodology process.
• 3+ years experience in Configuration Management working and deploying .Net applications
• 2+ years experience with MS Team Foundation Server 2007 or higher
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or higher
• Understanding of PowerShell or other scripting language
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
This position will be responsible for software builds, deployments, and configuration elements within the Dev, Test, Stage, and Prod
environments. The Configuration Management Analyst will coordinate build and deployment activities along with continuous process
improvement for IT applications.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Version Control Management - branching, tagging, merging for .Net applications
• Requires the ability to develop and manage implementation planning schedules and facilitate Change Control process
• Code conflict resolution, able to resolve conflicts between code revisions
• Manages and facilitates release planning
• Lead the Code Development and Promotion Plan leveraging Microsoft's Team Foundation System (TFS)
• Schedules and governs deployments of artifacts to test environments
• Manages software development knowledge base and audit documentation
• Delivers relevant reports regarding changes within the SCM domain
• Mentors developers in SCM practices
• Provide build automation and continuous integration
• Configuration and management of Microsoft's Team Foundation System
