RE: [ACEsthetics] Customer service- from Glacier Nat'l Park

I couldn’t stay up all night to watch the second coming unless HE gave me some help.

Grant
Sounds like you are in for a fabulous time. Almost spiritual. Good for you. I am more sedentary.
We did boat and hike to Grinnel Lake from Many Glacier hotel. Stayed up all night to watch the changing face of the mountains, glaciers, and night sky.
I am taken by the beauty of each turn we take. Everything takes my breath away in every direction.
If you have the opportunity, the view from the Many Glacier hotel is amazing. 100 year old style hotel, like it was just dropped in from the Swiss Alps. The architecture, setting, decor, dress of the staff, and mostly young adventurous European students working there.. Very cool. Lots of wildlife to be seen. Still haven't seen any 4 legged cougars.
Enjoy your time to recharge and reconnect.
Regards
Howard

Thanks Scott,

We're planning on hiking the entire Highline Trail and are looking at the
Piegan Pass Trail and the Grinnell Glacier.  I'm just going on word of
mouth and hiking/climbing websites and would love to hear what you would
recommend.  Apart from that, we don't know much about the Seeley Lake area
at all, so any hikes or climbs in that area would be appreciated.  Even
though I'm a technical climber and would love to attack some good, rugged
alpine peaks, I don't want to haul all my gear up there, so we'll stick to
trail hiking and climbing.  If there are some good walkup peaks to bag
(that don't need crampons), that would be cool too.

Thanks again!
