I taught Peter pretty much everything he knows about cupping! When I met Peter he didn't know a cup from a saucer.

No way it's just from the porcelain...

If u have practiced long this is often seen with traditional ceramic pfms with metal linguals.   I have seen it in reverse where the lower veneers tore up the upper linguals of the max

Usually an incorrect vdo.  Reset abolish jaw position. Crown lengthening and veneers crown full lower arch. Plus a nite guard.

I would bet that the lower arch was already significantly worn when the upper was done, and the patient chose to start with the upper! No telling without photos, though.

New patient today.  Needs his lower arch restored.  He is class III end-to-end and is a pretty heavy clencher grinder.

A nice reminder of what happens to tooth when it grinds against porcelain.

ps.  The restoration of the upper arch looks great in person btw.
