Yes, the model is applicable and useful to any leader in business, politics, non-profits, religious, educational organisation, home, or otherwise...
All that needs to be done is to tweak it for specificity of the situation, location, culture, problems and opportunities, and size of operations - and anything else I may have forgotten here.
Every budding and most successful leader (and leaders in any stage in between) could use this to guide his/her future thoughts and actions as LEADER.
