Has anyone at your office had a firm but nice verbal discussion with him so that he knows that the no shows disrupt the schedule and cost the practice? Some people just don't consider the financial impact it has on businesses as well as the effect it has on other patients who may have been able to use that appointment time. Maybe just a firm talk and putting them on the VIP list (short call list only)? I'm going with the comment that you said he was a nice guy. Obviously if he is not someone you want in the practice because of other reasons, that is a different story. It's frustrating, I know.
