Title: PowerBuilder Expert
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 6 months
PowerBuilder consultant with 8-10 years of experience. The code is written in a much older version which is one of the reasons the client needs someone with 8-10 years of experience. The ideal person will have a strong understanding of the system and strong coding skills. This person will mentor two Jr. Coders, therefore strong communication skills is a must. Experience in Reinsurance, Insurance or Financial Services background is a big nice to have.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in PowerBuilder 12.x or later
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (developing Stored procedures, Triggers, Functions, etc)
- Knowledge Reinsurance/Insurance business is preferred.
- Strong handle with queries.
- Good communications skills are a must.
- Must be able to lead inexperienced Power Builder developers, and be a good team player.
Optional skills: Queries
Experience with older PowerBuilder code.
