Personally, the meetings were always around either other meetings where I had to be at or teaching in Europe.  This year I had no meetings at that time and won't be in Europe, so fate stepped in.

I'll be having a great time instead being on the other end of a surgery to bring my paraesophageal hernia stomach back into the abdomen from half of it sneaking up into my chest to right next to my heart.  Kind of hard to compete with a, "Do it or possibly die" argument.  ;-)

We spend a lot of time planning this event and we do our best to pick relevant topics but we need people to support the event. We need each ACEr reading this message to commit to being at and supporting this event. Or, if you all prefer, we'll just stop having live events. I'm confused and would like people to respond...do you want live events or should we just forget them? 

 

And if you still want live events what can we do to gain your support and have you attend this event?
