Dear MTC-ians,
The ICFAI University, Jharkhand ( www.iujharkhand.edu.in) currently offers PhD program ( Part Time) in Management for working professionals .
In the 2013 batch, being the second batch, we have 19 scholars with rich experience ( ranging from 5 years to 25 years) in academics and industry .
50% of them have Engineering degree at Bachelor's level , from reputed Institutions like IITs and NITs. 30% of them are Post Graduates
in more than one discipline ( like MTech+MBA, MCA+MBA etc). They are currently working in reputed academic
institutions / corporates across the country in locations like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata ,Pune, Ranchi , Patna, Visakhapatnam etc.
All of them are passionate on doing research in areas ,relevant to industry and society , cutting across disciplines.
The University is planning to empanel Research Supervisors ( PhDs in Management or allied subjects , with prior experience in guiding PhD students)
across the country so that the scholars can get local guidance besides from the University. The 2013 batch of scholars will complete their course work by
November 2013 end and will be allocated Research Supervisors in Dec 13, to provide guidance from then-on.
It is an excellent opportunity to leverage the deep knowledge and rich experience of the MTC-ians for knowledge creation.
