my daughters found my old yearbook.  we then went to facebook and looked how people turned out.  the "pretty" ones usually were NOT after 10-20 years.  many average ones turned out AMAZING....

 

they got a good laugh and seem ok now with NOW....

hell, look at the harry potter movies.  one of the ugly kids is the best looking of the bunch (Neville Longbottom).

I had to have a conversation with my daughter once about some similar stuff that was happening with her (she is in 10th grade but the event I think was in 7th too).  All I could come up with is similar to Gary.  Beauty fades but butthole seems to last forever so don't ever be a butthole.

I would feel sad for anyone who was "rated" in 7th grade by their looks.

 

I employed my 15 year old son (who is very popular) to lessen the blow and give her some encouragement.

My daughter is super amazing..not just saying that.  She is going to be more successful than me, for sure!  She is cute enough for me.
