Role Summary:
Provides full life cycle analysis, development, support and complex problem resolution that meets customer requirements and SLAs. Possesses a working knowledge of end-to-end business and IT processes related to Siebel and other CRM applications. Work as part of an IT support team with other technology leaders, development staff and technical/business analysts to create technical solutions. Communicate progress, technical issues, and issue resolution
Responsibilities:
Deliver end to end application solution components on time and within budget, that meet the stated business needs, and conforms to IT methodologies and Data Management practices
Assists in the successful implementation of projects and timely service of production applications
Assists or creates Project Documentation / SOX artifacts (e.g., Functional Design Document / Functional Requirements Document) that meet SDLC standards
Required Skills:
Supports the delivery of fully tested applications or components of more complex applications by: reviewing test cases, participating in Unit testing and supporting SIT Testing
Interpret business requirements to develop functional requirements
Collaborate with other technology and development staff to provide solution alternatives that ensure key deliverables are achieved
Document the functional requirements, design, and testing information to ensure quality output that meets stated business needs
Create and modify technical processes, designs, and solutions, as required
Identify and support resolution of risks that could impact ability to deliver results within the stated objectives
Understand and manage the effect of change (regulatory, market or TIAA-CREF internal) on business processes, IT solutions and tools
Leads/influences groups though effective decision making
May lead project teams or direct the activities of a given project phase
Supports the development of less-experienced analysts through coaching and mentoring
Supports team building and internal process improvement efforts
Relates system solutions to broader organization strategies and objectives
Desired Skills:
Breadth of knowledge across CRM platforms i.e. On Premise solutions vs. Hosted/Cloud-based solutions
Will need to be available for weekend implementations (scheduled every other month).
Required Skills
BS in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, and/or relevant work experience (foreign degree equivalent accepted)
7+ years of IT experience
5+ years providing customer support in a technical environment
Experience with Siebel 7 and 8
Experience with Siebel tools a plus
3+ years progressive experience with design configuration and support of the appropriate systems(s)
Extensive knowledge of CRM industry standards and best practices
