Re: Pa Fru & JJ Cultural Festival" Was A Blast; End Of Story

Ms Joe Evelyn
Thank you very much for the compliments. You know it is mutually shared. So you know, you and I will never "tchakara". In Abakwa and Njuh-Mankon, once we have paid money "for ya head" you become our wife for life. Even if you go an born picken with another person, that child is automatically a Bamendrous picken and must carry a Bamendrous name. Remember how in Manyu Kontri fashion dem say dem no dey bury Manyu woman outside of Manyu land...but the problem arises when a Manyu beauty married to a Graffi (Bamileke + Bamendrous) man dies. The two traditions being quantitatively contradictory (Graffi people want their wives to be buried in their Graffi village...Period). That is why "Fights" have erupted at Douala and Yaoundé airports as to where exactly "la depouille mortelle" will be transferred to. I know the story of an important Pam,nda man who stole (yes stole) the corpse of his own wife "overnite" and B4 Manyu people got up from sleep, the cry-die was already taking place in Mankon, Bamenda.

Ms Joe, sorry for the digression into a strange story. I was simply telling you in my own macabre way that "Me na you na ton pieds mon pieds, go up kam down, wata go leave stone. Go sep go marry Akata, Ngengerou, Naija or Oyigbo, you will still remain our wife for ever". That is the good luck or bad luck of falling in LUV with Baminda peepoo....according to the law.

As for yesterdays ACCDF Festival, I will let participants appreciate and tell us honestly their opinion. But one thing is certain...YOU MISSED IT.
Mishe Fon

Family,

O' boy!, there was plenty of love, joy, unity, comradery and respect for each other. At one point in time, it appeared, it should not end; but there is a beginning and an end to everything, so therefore regrettably, it also ended. The separation was painful.  ___I do not understand what Bate Nico is singing but click and take a listen; it's surely lovely. Two thumbs up.  Congratulations to the ACCDF members. Stay tuned for more pics.
