Role : Liferay Developer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration : 2 Year Contract

Interview type: Face to Face only

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Ø  As a Liferay developer you will be responsible for actively engaging in sprint planning meetings to truly understand the end-user process and needs.

Ø  You will become a mentor to other developers to assure Liferay best practices and recommendations are followed.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS :

·         At least 3+ years of developing Portlets with Liferay

·         Preference is 5+ years of overall experience with strong Java and Object Oriented design skills

·         Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures

·         Hibernate experience

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Automated Testing using JUnit or similar

·         Spring framework

·         Independent

 

 

PREFERABLE SKILLS :

·         SCRUM and Agile methodologies

·         Alloy UI, HTML, CSS

·         REST API

·         Spring Portlet Framework

·         Spring Web MVC
