| Overview:
Responsible for the oversight and lead of Channel Marketing reporting
development projects, management of reporting and data projects, development of
the Reporting Data layer, and to support oversight of the Channel Marketing
Reporting Portal. In addition, the Channel Marketing Reporting Manager is
responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of reports and metrics which
may include customer, member, and partner reporting as well as providing
formatted reports in a presentable and sustainable manner. Primary reporting
objectives include the development and management of the Channel Marketing
Reporting Data layer, development and management of the Reporting Portal,
automation of standard periodic reporting and metrics as well as analysis to
assist the Marketing, Product, and Analytic teams to meet their goals and
objectives. The Channel Marketing Reporting Manager is required to mentor and
teach other members of the team. The position requires ability and expertise to
develop and manage the Reporting Data layer, the Reporting Portal, lead
multiple reporting projects, analyze and research data solve business problems
using reporting and development skills, and to effectively interact with both
internal and external clients across a variety of partner industry verticals. JOB
SUMMARY:
Manage and develop the Channel Marketing Reporting Meta Data layer in support
of the Channel Marketing Reporting projects. Responsibilities include
development of the Meta Data layer, accuracy of the data, development of the
proper supporting documentation, determination of proper development
techniques, project management to ensure successful completion of the project,
and the ability to create a collaborative project environment with the
Reporting, Marketing and Product Teams. Leads
in development and maintenance of reports and metrics to ensure consistent
application of key performance indicators across lines of business
* Assist in writing technical report requirements and test cases
* Create technical requirements to compliment business requirements
* Develop test cases to insure end-user testing is complete to minimize re-work
* Develop full code documentation to assist in QA
* Ensures all new projects are reviewed prior to roll-out into production
* Provides sign-off of new projects into production
Support the management and development of the Channel Marketing Reporting
Portal in support of Marketing strategies. Responsibilities include development
of the Reporting Portal, reports, determination of proper development
techniques, project management to ensure successful completion of the project,
and the ability to create a collaborative project environment with the
Marketing and Product Teams. Provide
proper training and support to clients to ensure clear understanding of reports
and metrics. Develop a positive working relationship with Marketing, Partner,
Analytic clients, and IT. Requirements MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years coding experience using SAS BI and/or other BI tool
Minimal of 5 years experience in development
Full understanding of the development life cycle
Critical thinking and translation of business needs into technology solutions
Exposure to data warehousing principles such as dimensional modeling or star
schema design
Willingness to take ownership of and responsibility for timely and accurate
reporting
Must be technically inquisitive/resourceful and demonstrate good analytical
skills
Ability to interact effectively with all levels
Ability to work on a team as well as independently PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Enterprise Guide, SAS Code and Web Report for SAS preferable
SQL or PL/SQL
Experienced with writing business or system requirements and test cases
Some experience in project management |
