Position: Testing Analyst (HP ALM and IBM Mainframe Environment)

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Duration: Long Term


Job Description:
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

As a minimum, the team member must have three (3) years of experience in the areas listed below. Failure to meet these mandatory qualifications will result in the disqualification of the offer.

• Experience and expertise in quality assurance frameworks, methods, and practices, such as ITIL v3, IEEE 829 and ISO 2000.
• Experience testing in the IBM Mainframe z/OS environment.
• Experience using HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)/Quality Center to develop test plans, prepare test cases and execute test scripts. – Must have
• Testing experience that demonstrates proficient knowledge of testing FTP batch and web service interfaces.

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience testing applications using Common Business-Oriented Language (COBOL), Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) files, Customer Information Control System (CICS) applications and DB2 for OS/390.
• Experience or knowledge of the Statewide Client Index (SCI) and Medi-Cal Eligibility Data Systems (MEDS).
• Experience or knowledge of Statewide Automated Welfare Systems (SAWS) such as CalWIN, C-IV and/or LEADER.
• Experience with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) methods and practices for protecting personal identifiable system data.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in the setup and configuration of HP ALM/QC
• Experience with testing changes to the Medi-Cal Eligibility Data System (MEDS)
• Experience as an Eligibility Worker, or equivalent classification, in any County Social Services Department
