Re: [MTC Global] Adding contract teachers to regular ones improves outcomes: study

Fortunately, this is only due to the service contract which doesn't say a word but orally expressed that there are no leaves and holidays, and if you go on a leave it would directly end with a loss of pay.

and the regular payees take these contract people as granted and divert all the work to these people.

at the end this system only helps to know how best we can be corrupt.

Teachers on contract, who come to class more often than tenured teachers who are sometimes paid five times more, improve learning outcomes, a new study of 200 schools in Andhra Pradesh has found. Contract teachers seem to be more committed. Absenteeism was 18% among contract teachers, compared with 27% among the regular teachers, the study noted.
