Yes I agree . Yesterday we went for a Directors' Roundtable at the IIM Bangalore. Ravi
Venkateshan, former Chief of Microsoft India talked about ' Conquering chaos - Win in India,
win everywhere' This is the title of his book. His stance is that Multinationals who
succeeded in India, inspite of all hurdles- such as DELL, Samsung, Unilever, have leveraged
the knowledge learnt in India about emerging markets in other countries ; and India was the best lab to learn.

So, EU can go to hell. Even if we can reinvest our internal resources in a massive way, then
even if there is shortfall in FDI, the Indian economy will not be affected. But the urgency
and drive for massive investment and reinvestment such as witnessed in China is lacking in
India given the structure, political culture, corruption etc. In ease of doing business India
stands above 160 among 180 plus countries. What a shame

I have also held the views at some other place that "Many of the economic reforms initiated in July 1991 remain unfinished due to political economy constraints. If these reforms in land, labor, capital markets, energy sector, education, civil services, governance, municipalities and corporations are brought to their logical ends, then India would emerge as one of the most favorable destination and a land of immense opportunities for all. Firstly, let us all resolve one thing. No European or South American or African nation must only compare with only one state in India - now with the entire country. In terms of population, homogenity, spread, area, language, culture, infra, Garmany must compare with one of our jewels - say Gujarat or Mahrashtra or Tamilnadu.. If they do not want to do business with India, it is their loss & not ours.

At a time when President Obama is doing his best to appease Indians & nurture a smooth relationship with India, David Cameroon is keen to enter into several tieups with India, Australia is bonding with us on many fronts, plethora of fast growing economies are making a bee line towards India for our brains, skills, knowledge, infrastructure, goods, services, people, heritage, spirituality, yoga, Krishna consciousness, meditative practices, holistic approach - Does one article matter.


We must take pride in the fact that along with China, we are an emerging superpower despite the fact that around 35 crores, almost a third, of our people are BPL..


What India was in 1947 & what it is today, -a saga of spectacular achievements in many fields, a transformation, a sea change? Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Sardar Patel or Netaji would have been aghast & spellbound with the progress India has made. The growth & success story India has scripted is beyond the wildest imagination of these great leaders & leaders across all major economies, including Germany.


Now, we as intellectuals, not merely educated, must think SOLUTIONS for all our problems, with a 360 degree disposition . We need to hit back all such allegations. Parallely, we need to aply pressure on our planners & economist to make our domestic economy stronger & make it independent.

We shall fight the corrupt, evil minded & selfish politicians & throw them out in next elections. We will not blame, comment, criticize, compare or paint a poor picture of India, under all circumstances in any forum, meeting, seminar, organization, association,,,,,,,,,anywhere in the Globe.

Let us change, means, what ? Change our Attitude first, then a change in Approach next, followed by Assertiveness & reinforcing our Ambition to make India a a Super power by 2025.,

No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn't trying.

despair, but this will not get us anywhere. In the final analysis it boils down to

what we as individuals can do by way of discharging our responsibility and perform

our duties fearlessly and diligently and not caring a damn.

control) nor is he able to exercise influence in a positive way. The country is

currently going through a leadership crisis and lack of value systems.

The judiciary has done its job by enforcing NOTA ( people's right to reject the

candicates in election )and banning convicts from contesting in the elections. The

ball is now in people's court. It is not only our fundamental right to vote but

our duty towards the country to elect the right people. When all of us feel this

responsibility and exercise our votes in the right manner, then we can bring a

change in the system and accountability of the Govt to the people.We have to be

hopeful to see the light at the end of the tunnel ,though the tunnel may be too

long and keep working towards it by motivating the people around us.
