Role :Sr. Support Analyst
Location :Corning, NY.

Job description :
• Provide operational (break-fix) support to existing reporting, ETL and data warehouse applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve common operational issues; escalate if necessary
• Follow documented processes and procedures for operational support
• Document and maintain support procedures
• Coordinate scheduled outages for the appropriate reporting environments
• Monitor performance of all environments
• Test applications in development and production
• Configure application environments in accordance with requirements
• Implement basic enhancements to currently deployed applications
• Participate as a member of an on-call operational support team, providing 24/7 support when on-call
Required Skills
• Provide day to day IT support for operations.
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in business intelligence approaches and techniques
• Experience with relational databases in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with development in Informatica, DataStage, Microsoft BI tools (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server), Cognos and Business Objects
• Familiarity with data warehousing and database concepts
Desired Skills
• Experience with source code control, management systems and standardized coding practices
• Experience with PeopleSoft and SAP/SAP BW
• Ability to operate effectively in a large diverse work team
• Effective customer relationship skills
• Experience in the support of key business information technology in a production environment
Education and Experience
· At least a 2 year degree and at least 5+ yrs experience in Information Technology
