Dear sons and daughters of Manyu Division and Friends of Manyu,
This is to remind you that MECA-USA, Inc. is planning to organize a Medical Mission in Mamfe, in December 18-22, 2013. I am appealing for your help in any form to enable us carryout a successful Medical Mission. Please let me know if you need additional information about the Mission.
Manyu Element Cultural Association in the United States of America (MECA-USA, Inc.) is partnering with Raphas Hands Foundation (a registered not-for-profit organization with more than 50 medical personnel whose goal is to extend medical care to underserved regions around the globe) to organize a Medical Mission in December 18-21, 2013 in Mamfe town, South West Region, Cameroon to assist in combating Health Disparity in Cameroon, especially in Manyu Division.
Dr. Paul Ayuk, the Chief Medical Officer of Mamfe General Hospital and Dr. Jean Cluade Mwinda, the Chief Medical Officer of St. John of God Health Centre in Mamfe are very supportive of the mission and will provide access to their surgical facilities. Drs. Ayuk and Mwinda have agreed to mobilize nurses, hospital support staff and nursing students from the Mamfe Nursing School to provide necessary assistance to the Medical personnel from the United States in order to ensure a successful outcome. Your participation and assistance will certainly guarantee a successful mission.
The "Medical Mission" event will attract over 100 medical professionals (doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, surgeons etc.) from USA, Nigeria and Cameroon. This team of health professionals will provide services (diagnose, treat, perform surgeries and provide medications) FREE OF CHARGE to patients. We ask that you make a commitment to support our Medical Mission to Mamfe by making a donation, either in cash or otherwise (accommodation, water, advertisement etc.). Your generosity will make a difference in our community and your financial contribution towards this noble project will be greatly appreciated.
