Re: [MTC Global] Do you Believe?

Techno school learning is more likely to be impersonal and perhaps will work better at higher levels. During formative years it is not good enough to learn the subject but also inculcate/develop  qualities like discipline, leadership, comradeship, values etc. These qualities can be acquired and strengthened by interaction with each other and the teachers.
Best method is a good mix of both methods.

I concur with the views of Goel saab
Children should be encouraged to participate in more and more extracurricular activities.
If their entire persona is to be developed we should not  restrict them to classroom or syllabus learning etc.
I understand practicing any one form of liberal arts acts as a stress buster and good for the students as well.

My experience is technology is definitely useful in enhancing and speeding the learning but it does not replace school bags or writing and hands-on experience. I have seen that where school is using lots of technology, you have keep its use at home restricted and encourage children to more activities, creative arts, performing arts, reading of books other than the syllabus books etc. etc.

Do you believe that [techno-school] e-learning in schools is highly effective? We do not find students carrying bags in top international schools as they have gone online/e-learning/LMS?

Good that students need not carry the heavy weight but is it effective ?

An area needs good discussion...................
