Core Java, OOP concepts, UML, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Servlets, web services, struts, spring and Apache

 

Experience Level/Designation: 6+ Yrs.

 

Desired start date: Immediate

 

Must Have Skills:

•         Java/J2EE Technical skills, Good communication skills.

•         Proven expertise of analyze, design and development of Java/J2EE applications, preferably in an Enterprise setting.

•         Strong hands on experience in building enterprise level applications using Java/J2EE Technologies.

•         Proven ability to participate in analyze and design discussions with business partners and client technology teams.

•         Detailed understanding of the release and build procedures in an enterprise setting.

•         Detailed understanding of OOP concepts, UML modeling.

•         Good understanding of Front end technologies/concepts like HTML, CSS, JQuery, Browser compatibility, Accessibility and debugging tools like Firebug etc.

•         Good understanding of Performance testing, fine tuning performance issues like memory leaks, hung threads.

•         Proven experience to work with Cross functional teams.

•         Experience in Onsite/Offshore working model.

•         Detailed understanding of Core Java, Servlets, Web Services, Struts, spring, Apache Frameworks.

•         Detailed understanding of Design patterns and hands on experience in design activities.

•         Detailed understanding of the databases concepts. Working knowledge of any database required.

•         Experience working on Unix/Linux platforms.

•         Knowledge of Unit testing methodologies and frameworks.

•         Experience with estimation techniques/processes.

•         Detailed understanding of the build and release procedures in an enterprise setting.

•         Good understanding of software engineering methodologies and design patterns; ability to drive good software engineering practices.

•         Proficient in documenting architectural solutions and code.

•         Excellent time management skills.

•         Excellent communication skills to articulate designs/development to client technology teams.

•         Experience with Agile development methods, preferably Scrum (preferred).
