Job Title: Web Programmer Analyst 
Location: Owings Mills, MD
Initial Duration: 10 Months

 

Top 3 things he/she will need to do:

•        Write all requirements for the project – for both the tool (content management system) as well as for the design of the website, including writing functional annotations to web designs

•        Entering requirements and managing requirements into the CareFirst ALM tool

•        Helping to test content management system build and web site designs that are being done against the requirements – liaison with functional business team and IT. Does this for entire project. 

Abilities/Skills
Must have the ability to work independently to manage multiple projects while keeping all team members informed of the project’s progress and aware of potential problems.
Must be able to think strategically and help others “think outside the box” to develop web functionality across the CareFirst. The ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical management and staff is essential.
The successful candidate must also possess:

•        Experience coding for websites, including HTML and managing style sheets (CSS). Experience in JavaScript, Data exchange standards (XML, JSON, RSS) a plus.

•        Experience using and managing an enterprise content management system (Team site, LiveSite). Preference given to candidate who have hands-on experience with Team site, LiveSite.

•        Candidate will be required to gain a high level of proficiency with Inerwoven’s Team Site content management system.

•        Familiarity with web usability methodology and standards. 

•        Experience in using WebTrends or other web analytics software. Must have an understanding of how web analytics tool work and how they are configured to ensure reporting tool is being accurately managed.

•        Experience in using search tool, including writing search requirements and testing to ensure that search is working correctly. 

•        Experience in writing requirements using BluePrint, iRise.

•        Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, Particularly Word and Excel.

•        Knowledge of PCs, networks and the internet.
