"Creativity is all about connecting the dots" - A Person's Knowledge, Skills and Experiences well connected makes the creativity.
To me; creativity is not inborn, but developed by visionaries. Let me quote the great visionary Steve Jobs, Jobs later claimed that being fired from Apple was the best thing that could have happened to him; "The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life."
