Role : Oracle BPEL/Performance Developer

Location: Dayton, OH

 

Job Description :

Ø  The Oracle Application Developer will be responsible for configuring and customizing the Oracle Financial Application.

Ø  This person should have experience customizing COTS products, and be trained on Oracle Financials (OFA, PSB, EPB).

In addition:

Ø  Perform Functional Design and Technical Designer reviews in-line with the build criteria process and development processes.

Ø  Create Technical Designs required to deliver allocated Functional Designs.

Ø  Ensure compliance with standards, templates, checklist and guidelines is maintained and, contribute to their development.

Ø  Escalate issues related to functionality, development architecture, scoping and deadline issues;

Ø  Develop programs based on the Functional and Technical Designs;

Ø  Prepare component test documentation such as test cycles, test conditions, test data, and test scripts.

Ø  Execute component tests and identify, debug and correct uncovered errors.

Ø  Adhere to the methodology and development processes as specified by the Project team.

Ø  Ensure all assigned deliverables are completed on time and to the required level of quality.

Ø  Create and maintain productive relationships with client team members and relevant stakeholders.

Ø  Use various sources to understand the functionality to be delivered in your area of responsibility.

Ø  Understand the architecture of the solution, and how it is used to deliver the functionality for which you are responsible.

Ø  Work collaboratively as an integral part of the Build team and supporting other team members as required.

Ø  Where appropriate provide technical support to the Testing activities.

 

 

Secondary:

Ø  Identify and suggest process improvements that improve the effectiveness of the development effort.

Ø  Assist the team lead in ensuring that the status of the successful and unsuccessful completion of development objects is properly reported utilizing the existing tools and procedures.

Ø  Assist in the creation of metrics and status report for the project leadership and the client, as required.

Ø  Capture and share knowledge that may be useful to the team, project, and Accenture.

Ø  Adhere to detailed team work plans.

Ø  dentify all risks and issues to team lead along with possible mitigation steps.

Ø  Complete a weekly status report on time.

Ø  Reports to Development Team Lead.

Other Features (e.g., traveling, shift hours, etc.):

Ø  Travel may be required; with pre-approved Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) expenses reimbursed separately.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Ø   Application Development - 3+ years in Oracle11i Financials environment

Ø  BPEL development 3+ years

Ø  Oracle Forms 3+ years

Ø  PL/SQL - 3+ years

Ø  Oracle 11i Financials Implementation experience - 4 years including Oracle EBS configuration.

Ø  5 years + experience working with Air Force or DoD Financial Processes (especially Accounting and Finance, but also Budgeting and Funding).

 

 

Preferred

Ø   Java J2EE or J2SE development 3+ years

Ø  Oracle Reports/BI Publisher 3+ years
