Re: [MTC Global] [Bizzare] Rajasthan University professor sacked over charges of running 'sex racket'

What you call the VAHKRA BHUDDHI in each one changes the direction of an individual from the right path. One must have control over their thoughts and desires. One should not become a victim to amorous thoughts. Teacher is a human being first and teacher next. Whatever desires and thoughts, right or wrong,  normal human beings possess, teacher also possesses. Every individual must have control over their senses. More so, the teachers.

If any other individual commits such heinous acts, it affects that particular individual and his family . Whereas, if a teacher who has to be a role model and a mentor commits such acts it is highly condemnable as it has far reaching implications on the entire society. Such teachers who commit heinous acts are left unpunished it would give raise to more such attempts.

If you go to the roots of such incidents, the whole of society has to be blamed for such incidents. Let us not go in debth of the issues and on the problem.

Atleast, individuals who have to guide and take along their wards for a brighter and noble future must take precautionary steps to avoid getting trapped in such ugly incidents.

The teachers must act as a Light House beaming rays of hopes for the benefit of people and pupils to show them the right direction and the path  of righteousness.

lets hope that this kind of things don't reoccur.

Rajasthan University (RU) has sacked the director of Centre of Ambedkar Studies, Ramesh Chawla, 42, for his alleged involvement in a sex racket busted on January 16. Chawla was also serving as assistant professor of political science at Maharani's College. "Police have submitted a report which confirms his involvement. He was discharged from his duty immediately under the Rajasthan University Act," said Dev Swarup, Vice Chancellor of RU.

Acting on a tip off, Bhankrota police said raided a house in JDA colony and caught red-handed two Delhi-based women with two-middle aged men, including a university professor. "We were shocked to learn about his identity," said Umar Singh, SHO of Bhankrota police station. He added that initially, the professor has said that he was a real estate consultant.

Reportedly, he also held various organisational posts in Congress and used his influence but failed to slip out. The racket kingpin, a woman, and the house owner were also arrested. A lower court has rejected the bail application of the accused on grounds of influencing the case. His arrest has come as a shocker for the eight research scholars working under him at the Centre of Ambedkar Studies.

The varsity authorities came to know about the incident a week ago, when they were informed by the police about the credentials of the arrested professor, reported Times of India.
