Location: Alviso, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Face to Face interview is required after the initial Telephonic round.

 

Job Description

Very wide project lifecycle experience – especially in enterprise environments

Experience working with multi-tiered, load-balanced, redundant infrastructure architectures

Very good hands on knowledge of AWS platform features and capabilities

 

Strong knowledge across multiple areas of enterprise infrastructure including:

Virtualization (ESXi, ESX, Hyper-V or KVM)

Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, reverse proxies, routing, switching etc.)

SAN and storage (RAID configuration, caching etc.)

Security (firewall configuration, IPS/IDS etc.)

Web technologies (web services, XML, XHTML, JSON etc.)

Database technologies (basic SQL, data backup/restoration, replication, NoSQL etc.)

 

Hands on scripting experience:

Shell scripting in Linux/Unix

DOS batch scripts or Windows PowerShell

Cloud Formation or automated deployment/configuration tools (e.g. Chef/Puppet)

Installation, configuration and basic hands-on system administration skills for both

Windows and Linux operating systems

Experience creating detailed infrastructure design documents.
